If you’re buying a loft or condo for sale in DTLA, here’s what you need to know about house-hunting before you start looking.
3 Things You Need to Know About House-Hunting
- Online photos can be deceiving
- Buying a home takes time and patience
- You might have to make some trade-offs
Online Photos Can Be Deceiving
When you’re looking at pictures of homes online, most of them look amazing – but they’re not, really. You can’t pick up on a condo or loft’s flaws (other than layout) in most real estate photos. Your best bet is to zero in on the condos or lofts you like best, then ask your real estate agent to take you on a tour of the property.
Buying a Home Takes Time and Patience
It’s pretty rare that buyers find their dream condo immediately – you’ll probably have to look at at least two or three properties before you find “the one.” And that’s okay – it’s a Realtor’s(R) job to take you to see homes until you find what you’re looking for.
You Might Have to Make Some Trade-Offs
There’s no perfect home… unless you’re designing it yourself. You might have to make a few trade-offs when you’re buying, which requires you to prioritize your list of wants and needs.
